- Abstract
- United States Major Cities is a point theme representing locations for cities within United States with populations of 10,000 or greater (based on Census 2000 figures), all state capitals, and the national capital. Attribute information includes the name, class, state, capital status, land area, water area, population class and the 2000 population of the city as well as other demographic variable from the 2000 U.S. Census. This dataset is a part of the 2008 ESRI Data Maps collection.
