- United States Major Roads is a polyline theme representing interstates, U.S. and state highways, major streets, and other major thoroughfares within the United States. Attribute information includes the name, FCC code and type of road. This dataset is a part of the 2008 ESRI Data Maps collection.
- Purpose
- United States Major Roads provides an invaluable reference and cartographic layer that make it easy to identify areas in other data sets. U.S. Major Roads overlays accurately on streets and other boundary data.
