This collection of digitized historic Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) highway maps (not georeferenced) are dated between1916-2020. The print maps were scanned to digital formats (PDF and TIFF) by various agencies from original print material held at the WisDOT Digital Cartography Unit archives.
Purpose
This collection of scanned maps is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or (if georeferenced) to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data.
