This is an index of 2-meter DEM tiles for Tompkins County, New York. Derived from a
LiDAR point survey collected May 4-13, 2008, the data values represent bare earth elevation
in meters, vertical datum NAVD1988 (GEOID09). Each downloadable tile covers a 1500m x 1500m
area.
Purpose
This data allows users to get elevations, create contours, and perform other tasks
that require detailed elevation, and also supports FEMA's Floodplain Map Modernization
Program.
