This study is an Ipsos Canada Invitation Survey prior to the 41st Canadian General Election. The Invitation Survey was performed April 28 - May 2, 2011, leading to the election and Ipsos election day survey on May 2, 2011.
An online survey tool was used to examine voter intentions and opinions prior to the 41st Canadian general election. Respondents provided information regarding government and party leader preferences, as well as opinions on potential minority or coalition government scenarios. Respondents were asked to consider their personal financial situation and potential change in the next year, as well as policy priorities for the next government. Respondents were also asked a series of questions on the Canadian Forces, Post Trauma Syndrome (PTS), and mental health.
This study has a sample of 50,433 respondents.
