Redevelopment Areas, including land use designations for these areas as of 3/7/07, in Trenton, NJ.
Purpose
Redevelopment Areas are created and adopted by Trenton City Council, as per the NJ Redevelopment Act. Knowing whether a property is in a Redevelopment Area or not is important because zoning in Redevelopment Areas is superceded by the land use identified in the Redevelopment Plan for the area. Thus, to understand the land use restrictions on a property, one must refer to the Redevelopment Plan and map.
