This shapefile contains arcs, polygons and polygon labels that
describe coal deposits in the countries comprising the Former Soviet Union.
(Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan,
Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Tajikstan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine
and Uzbekistan.)
Purpose
This spatial dataset is intended to delineate coal deposits of the Former
Soviet Union in U.S.G.S. Open File Report 01-104, "Coal Quality and Resources
of the Former Soviet Union - An ArcView Project".
