The historical map of New Jersey published originally by the Geological Survey of New Jersey was scanned, georeferenced and reprojected to the New Jersey State Plane Coordinate System, NAD 83 using ERDAS IMAGINE software.
Purpose
The georeferenced historical geological map can be used as layers in geographic information systems and can extract historical information.
