- Abstract
- Canada Parks is a polygon theme representing parks and forests within Canada at national and local levels. This data set provides six levels of generalization for displaying the data at different scales. Everything about the levels is the same but the level of generalization and its name. The least generalized level is called data set name. The next more generalized level is called data set name_1, and so on. For best performance, use the most appropriate generalized level when displaying or printing.

- Logical Consistency Report
- The shapefile is converted to SDC (Smart Data Compression) format using either ESRI SDC Data Development Kit Professional 2 (DDKP2) or tools in ArcGIS. The SDC data set is then loaded into ArcSDE to verify and validate the geometry.
- Completeness Report
- After processing, the data set is checked for drawing display and number of records and file sizes compared with source materials. This data set provides six levels of generalization.
- Horizontal Positional Accuracy Report
- The horizontal positional accuracy is 167 feet for the least generalized level. The least generalized level has the highest horizontal positional accuracy.
