- Abstract
- This data set portrays labor statistics annual averages for the years 2005 to 2009, shown by county, for the United States and Puerto Rico. The data set was created by merging data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics with a file showing year 2001 county boundaries. Included is the total labor force, the number of employed and unemployed, and the unemployment rate for each county.
- Purpose
- These data are intended for geographic display and analysis at the national level, and for large regional areas. The data should be displayed and analyzed at scales appropriate for 1:2,000,000-scale data. No responsibility is assumed by the National Atlas of the United States in the use of these data.
