    <abstract lang="eng" displayLabel="Abstract">This line shapefile represents bathymetric contour line coverage for a region of the central California coast from approximately Point Arena to Lopez Point, south of Monterey. The coverage offshore extent is varied, ranging from under 45 miles to over 120 miles. Isobath resolution is generally 10 meters on the continental shelf and 50 meters beyond.</abstract>
