This dataset adapted from the map provided "Biotic Communities of the Southwest", August 1980 by David E. Brown and Charles H. Lowe. Purpose
The data are created to serve as base information for use in GIS systems for a variety of planning and analysis purposes. Use of data for Engineering work is prohibited. This datasets is made available to interested persons through the University of Arizona's instance of Open Geoportal. It has been provided to assist educators, students, researchers, and policy makers in mapping and/or analysis applications.
